On this page

Foliora shows PDF documents inside your WordPress posts and pages with a fast, accessible viewer. Rendering happens in the visitor's browser with a copy of PDF.js that ships inside the plugin — there is no CDN, no outside service and no API key.

Two plugins, one viewer#

Free FolioraA complete PDF viewer: page, scroll, spread and 3D flipbook views, themes, search, a document library, searchable PDF text, accessibility and page-builder widgets. No locked features.
Pro Foliora ProA separate add-on that extends the free viewer through public hooks: Secure Mode, watermarks, protected links, access rules, WooCommerce sales, analytics, lead capture, EPUB, bookshelf, lightbox, hotspots and white label.

Foliora Pro never replaces the free plugin. Keep Foliora active and add Foliora Pro on top of it.

What you can build#

How it works#

  1. You embed a PDF with the block, the [foliora] shortcode, a page-builder widget or by pasting its link.
  2. Foliora prints a lightweight viewer container plus a plain download link for visitors without JavaScript.
  3. The browser renders the visible pages with the bundled PDF.js, only when the viewer is on screen if lazy loading is on.
