Pro Requires Foliora Pro
Bookshelf and document categories
Show PDFs and EPUBs on a shelf or grid, grouped by Document categories, with filter, search, lock badges and a lightbox.
1. Categorise your documents#
- Create categories under Foliora → Document categories (for example Guides, Catalogues, Reports).
- In Media → Library open a PDF or EPUB and choose its Document category.
2. Add the bookshelf#

How it behaves#
- Covers come from the first-page thumbnails (see Docs & Features).
- Clicking a book opens it in the lightbox.
- Documents with access rules show a lock badge; readers without access get the preview or locked card.
- PDFs and EPUBs mix on the same shelf.
Document categories are a taxonomy (foliora_doc_cat) on attachments. Its terms are deleted when Foliora Pro is uninstalled.
