Bookmarks, progress sync and My Library
Logged-in readers bookmark pages, write notes, continue on any device, and find everything they read on their own shelf.

These features are for logged-in readers and work in both the PDF viewer and the EPUB reader.
Foliora Pro saves each reader's position to their account. When they come back — on any device — a “Continue from page N” control takes them back to where they stopped.
Bookmarks with notes#
- Click the bookmark button in the toolbar to bookmark the current page or chapter (“Bookmark added”).
- Open the bookmarks panel to see all bookmarks, add a note to each (“Add a note…”, up to 1,000 characters), jump back, or delete one.
- Up to 200 bookmarks per document per reader.
My Library#
Put the reader's personal shelf on any page — for example an account or “My documents” page:
[foliora_my_library limit="24" title="My library"]
| Attribute | Default |
|---|---|
limit | 24 — how many documents to show |
title | My library |
Each document shows a progress bar, where the reader stopped, how long ago and the number of bookmarks, with Continue (opens on the same page), Read again and Remove (bookmarks are kept). Logged-out visitors see a Log in prompt.
Storage#
Progress and bookmarks are stored in user meta (foliora_reading_progress, foliora_bookmarks) — at most 200 documents of progress per reader. They are kept if Foliora Pro is uninstalled.
Logged-out readers still get last-page resume in their own browser from the free plugin. See Start page & resume.
