Get the code#

  1. Open Media → Library and click the document.
  2. Copy the Foliora embed code from the attachment details.
  3. Paste it into any website's HTML.
<iframe src="https://yoursite.com/foliora-embed/42/7d1e…/" width="100%" height="600" loading="lazy" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Optional parameters on the src:

ParameterExample
view?view=flip
theme?theme=dark
start?start=3 — first page

The address contains a signature, so only codes generated in your admin work.

Limit where it can be framed#

Foliora → Pro Settings → Protection → Embedding on other sites → Allowed sites: one site per line, wildcards allowed (*.example.org). Leave it empty to allow any site; your own site is always allowed. Foliora sends a Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors header accordingly.

What still applies#

Secure Mode, access rules, analytics and hotspots work inside the iframe exactly as on your site.

Browsers often block third-party cookies inside iframes, so a reader logged in to your site may appear logged out there. Documents limited to logged-in users or members then show their preview or locked card.
